I've heard everyone recommend SunKong Juhi! Today, I went to try it and was very impressed with the most recommended durian pastry.
The puff pastry was crumbly and buttery with a full filling of rich durian flavor that wasn't too sweet and wasn't greasy at all.
The baked barbecue pork dinner bun must be ordered as well--the outer crust is very well fermented while the inside has a fluffy and soft texture that melts in your mouth when you bite into it. Its pineapple filling is also flowing and smooth while retaining its shape well after baking. The salted egg yolk filling within this bun is delicious; I ate two in one breath!
update: went back again for tofu flower and red rice shrimp sausage; both were super delicious!) Other recommendations include red rice shrimp sausage/sesame shrimp bucket/phoenix claw/ribs/shrimp dumplings/egg tarts which aren't amazing but definitely above par!
